Janis Lippman is the best! She is knowledgeable about all aspects of real estate (market trends, homes and systems, comps, and providing very accurate estimates for what projects might cost). She is easygoing, kind, funny, super responsive and very knowledgeable about Boston neighborhoods and surrounding suburbs. She walked us through the buying process in a stress-free way and recommended a mortgage loan officer and real estate attorney who are both wonderful. She has also referred us to a number of contractors who have been terrific. I first met Janis in 2010, when I was looking to purchase a condo in JP or Roslindale. During that first meeting, Janis told me that she didn’t care if I purchased something in the next month or a year later, but that her primary goal was to see me end up in a home that made me happy. Well, I never did buy a home in 2010, or during any of the next ten years, but fast forward to fall 2020 and my family and I just moved into a beautiful home. During the decade since that first meeting, we (my wife and I) easily looked at over 200 properties. To say that we were picky (especially me) is an understatement, but Janis always treated us in a kind, supportive and informative fashion. She stuck with us through what seemed to be a never ending search with patience and good humor. And now we are in a home that makes us very happy, which was her primary goal at the outset.
